Muslim Vendor of the Week!

Cuisine: Desserts / Breakfast

Type of Vendor: On-Site Dutch Mini Pancakes

City: Serving Bay Area

Instagram: @mimisminicake

Overview:

We recently attended an event where Mimi’s MiniCakes delighted us with freshly made mini Dutch pancakes, perfectly crafted to satisfy all our carb cravings.

These traditional Dutch pancakes are light, fluffy, and topped with a range of toppings.

Mimi’s MiniCakes were absolutely delicious—warm, melt-in-your-mouth bites that were a huge hit with the kids!

Her menu is a treat in itself, offering a creative variety like Kunafa, Biscoff Cookie, Tres Leches, Oreo crumbles, and a secret Nutella sauce drizzled over bananas, strawberries and powdered sugar.

Book Mimi’s MiniCakes for your next birthday, bridal shower, or any special event!

New Restaurant Opening!

Cuisine: Mexican

Location: Union City

Cost: $18 - $25 per entree

Must Try Menu Items: Chicken Poblana Enchiladas, Super Burrito with Carne Asada, Birria Tacos, Shrimp Bowl

Hours: Open 7 days a week

Monday - Sunday : 12 PM - 9 PM

Overview: After the success of their legendary Oakland location, Maya’s has decided to expand to Union City.

Maya’s Union City is a slight departure from their Oakland location with a deeper focus creating a dine in environment vs. Oaklands take-out vibe. That said - the menu items we know and love remain the same!

As Gen Z says - Maya’s got the vibes right.

Great seating, awesome lighting, fresh food, and hopefully when you visit, good company.

In the future, we can easily see Maya’s being a go-to spot for late night meals for the night owls amongst us.

Go support Maya’s in Union City and enjoy some Halal Mexican food they offer to the community!
